God’s Love is Everlasting

Jeremiah 31:3 I have loved you with an everlasting love that is why I have been faithful to you.

Our love is momentary and often is dependent upon a relationship with another, but God’s love is everlasting through time and eternity. Ray Stedman challenges us to look as far back as we can; God’s love was there. Now think forward as far as you can; God’s love will be there. That is what the word “everlasting” means.

Today ponder that word and praise God for His everlasting love that never changes or is diminished because of who we are or what we have done. That is why He sent His one and only Son.
