God is Faithful

Joshua 19-21 In chapter 21 we read “Not one of the Lord’s faithful promises to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; every one was realized.” [Josh. 21:45] If we stop long enough to look back over our own lives we can share that same because one of the attributes of God is Faithfulness! How about me? Am I faithful like God?

Here’s a question for all of us: Suppose God was only partially faithful, what would that mean? It would mean that He is not only not sovereign but also not trustworthy. How could you trust a God that was only half-sovereign? But thanks be to God that from the very first verse in Genesis to the very last verse in
Revelation God has proven Himself faithful and true.
