Psalm 11 The cost of fear

Proverbs tells us that there is wisdom in the counsel of many but there can also be wrong advice in that counsel. How can we know the difference? Seeking Him first and only first removes that temptation to be fearful. Fear is of the enemy and Satan is very aware of our weakness to that end. David was being counseled to run and hide from Saul but listen to what David answered: In the Lord I put my trust. Is that your answer too? 

Today many of you are fearful because of the words and emotions we hear in podcasts, the news, and other avenues. Time to turn them off and do as David did; go to the Lord in prayer and ask for wisdom and discernment. [I am preaching to myself here as well as you] He will never lead you astray. So if today your special buddies and friends are counseling you to do that which is contrary to God, turn aside and turn to Him.
