God’s Requirements

Micah 5-7 Three Things God requires

God has clearly laid out what He requires, a simple 1-2-3 plan.

Do justly; that is, whatever you choose to do, do it with the pattern of how God would act.

Secondly, love mercy or love faithfulness as the NET has it. God loves mercy, and He dispenses it with his justice. We should do the same.

Thirdly, walk humbly. Our life should mirror the life of Christ; in humility.

“He has told you, O man, what is good, and what the Lord really wants from you: He wants you to carry out justice, to love faithfulness, and to live obediently before your God.” Micah 6:8]
