Christ Paid the Penalty
Romans 4 to 7 Alive to Serve
Abraham was counted righteous, and it was before he was circumcised. The principle is clear; God grants righteousness on our faith and not of works.
As to death, we shall be like Christ in His resurrection, we die physically now, but we shall never die spiritually. God so loved us that even while being sinners, Christ died for us. [Rom 5:8] Therefore, we have peace with God. We are no longer slaves to sin, but slaves to righteousness, and we prove that through our works which takes us back to James who said, faith is proven by our works.[James 2:17-18]
We are no longer under the constraints of the Law, but we are under grace. [Rom 6:14]Therefore, present yourselves as instruments to be used for righteousness and holiness. [Rom 6:13 and 19] Or to put it another way: now present your members as slaves to righteousness leading to sanctification. [Rom 6:19]
