12.7.24.Worthy is our Lord!

Revelation 5 Worthy

Just as in the first chapter, John sees in a vision (?) the throne room of God filled with the angelic host of heaven. But, it was not a quiet place for John heard the words of the question: Who is worthy to open the scroll which had words on the inside and outside. John began to weep as he pondered this question for he knew he was unworthy. As he wept, an angel figure said, do not weep for the Lion of Judah is worthy. He is adorned with 7 horns and 7 spirits of God. 

When we ponder this picture we also see ourselves as unworthy. It is comforting to realize that Jesus is worthy just as John wrote.”You (Jesus)  are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals because you were killed, and at the cost of your own blood you have purchased for God, persons from every tribe, language, people, and nation.” {vs 9} 

Yes, we may be unworthy but the Lamb of God is not only worthy, but He has revealed Himself to us that we might give Him praise, honor and glory.
