Instructions
Titus 1 Remember when Mom left us with instructions to do thus and so and she would check to see if we were obedient in her absence? As the “parent” for
Titus, Paul writes to instructions for the fledgling church on Crete. Paul writes: “The reason I left you in Crete was to set in order the remaining matters and to appoint elders in every town, as I directed you.” [Titus 1:5]
We know that he was obedient as we read the rest of this letter and other letters where he is mentioned. What instructions has the Lord left for us to do so that when He appears we will be found faithful? We are to be about His business discipling others for the kingdom work. We are to be busy taking the gospel to the ends of the earth. What are we doing today to fulfill that obligation?
